To Find :- simplification of 3(13+6 x 7) = (11 x 3) - (12 – 4 x 2) gives : (A) 0 (B) 1 (C) 2 (D) 9

Solution :-

→ 3(13 + 6 x 7) = (11 x 3) - (12 – 4 x 2)

according to BODMAS rule, solving multiply inside bracket first,

→ 3(13 + 42) = 33 - (12 - 8)

solving bracket now,

→ 3 * 55 = 33 - 4

→ 165 ≠ 31 .

Given question is incorrect .

Question 2) :-

→ 3(13+6 x 7) ÷ (11 x 3) - (12 – 4 x 2)

→ 3(13 + 42) ÷ 33 - (12 - 8)

→ 3 * 55 ÷ 33 - 4

→ 165 ÷ 33 - 4 (or, 3 * (55/33) - 4 = 55 ÷ 11 - 4)

→ 5 - 4

1 (Ans.) (B)
