The simultaneous linear equations are 3x + 4y = 11 and 4x + 3y = 10

find the value of x and y​

Answer:

3x+4y = 11 _ _ _ _(i)

4x+3y = 10_ _ _ _(ii)

multiply 4 in (I) and 3 in (ii)

12x+16y = 44

12x+9y = 30

7y = 14

y = 2

put this value of y in (i)

3x+(4×2) = 11

3x = 3

x. = 1

hence x+y = 1+2

= 3

x-y = 1-2

= -1
