In sexual reproduction the DNA of both parents are combined. In asexual new formed are always termed as daughter cells because they aren't male or female

poojakumaresh26: can u please tell me ....in sexual reproduction 23chromosome + 23 chromosome combine and form 46
poojakumaresh26: and is 46 chromosome in pairs or just 46 chromosome
poojakumaresh26: and do asexual reproduction have haploid chromosome
julie64: 22+1(X) from female and 22+1(X or Y) from male.
julie64: That means 23 pairs that are formed with one female and one male chromosome.Total 46 chromosomes
julie64: No the haven't, because the cell duplicates. The daughter cells will have the same contents of the parent cells
