Area of rectangle =  6 x 5 = 30m²

Area of rectangle = area of square = 30m²

x² = 30

x = √30  = 5.4772

Side should be 5.48m for a square

Given Data of Rectangle -

Length = 6 meters

Breadth = 5 meters

We know, Area of Rectangle

= (length × breadth)

∴ Area of given Rectangle

= (6 × 5) m²

= 30 m²

Hence, the area of given rectangle is 30m²

∵ Area of Rectangle = Area of Square

【To draw a square, we need it's side】

∴ Side of Square

= Square root of area of square

= √(30) m

= 5.47 m 【Approximate value】

To draw a Square -

1. First of all, we need to draw it's base with the given side i.e. 5.47m.

2. We know, that a square had all sides equal and that each ∠ measures 90°.

So, we will draw a 90° in both the base ∠s

3. Then we will draw 5.47m and make it's sides.

4. Then we will draw a line at the top with the same side and the square is completed.
