The size of a triangle are in ratio of 3:2:5 and its perimeter is 30cm, Find the length of longest side.

You can just make the sides of the triangle 3x, 2x, and 5x, where x is the scaling factor that will bring the total up to 30cm.

 

Then, simply add and solve for x:

 

3x+2x+5x=30

10x=30

x=3 cm

 

Your longest side is the 5x, so its length would be 5*3= 15cm. answer.
