Solution:

So we need to convert the micron into meter and then we can easily know the number of bacteria present in the length of 1 meter as bacteria size is known.  

Therefore, 1 micron $= 10^{-6}\ meter$

Number of bacteria by applying the unitary method bacteria in 1 m length $= \frac{1}{10^{-6}}$  

Number of bacteria in 1 m length $= 10^{6}$ bacteria.
