The size of the cell a living thing has nothing to do with the size of the living creature. It some case it depends upon the the changes in the cell volume or surface area have deep effects. For example some living things like elephants and human beings have same size of cells although they differ enormously in sizes. This is also because that they belong are mammals. And belonging to same category means that functions of their system will also be same.

For example when we compare the RBC of human as well as elephant it remains in same shape as well as in same size. It is not big in elephant and not small in human
