the size or the number of cells does not determine the size of an organism. However, do you think the shape of the nerve cells of an organism is related to its function?

Answer:

Yes. the nerve cells of an organism is related to its function. The nerve cells are elongated in shape and thin so that it receives signals and transports it to the brain. It is round in shape so that it holds larger amounts of haemoglobin ( which contains oxygen ) for transportation all around the body.
