The sky cannot fall
The sky is composed of air which is held by gravitational force and therefore cannot fall.
The sky that we see is nothing but the atmospheric air surrounding us. The earth has a gravitational pull which pulls on everything including air. The sky is air in the form of layer of gasses trapped around the earth.
There are layers of air beneath more layers of air. It is not in a solid form to be able to fall down.
