The slant height and base diameter of a conical tomb are 25 m and 14 m respestuvely . Find the cost of white water it curved surface area at 12 per m square

Given :-

  • Diameter = 14 m

Radius = 7 m

  • Height = 25 m

To find :-

  • Curved surface area of the tomb &
  • Cost of white washing

According to the question,

Curved surface area of the tomb = \sf{ \pi rl}

\implies \sf{ \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 25}

 \implies \sf \red{ 550 \: {m}^{2} }

.°. Cost of white washing at the rate of Rs 12

\implies \sf{550 \times 12}

\implies \sf\red{Rs\:6600}
