Slant Height of the conical tomb = 25 m

Diameter of the conical tomb = 14 cm

=> 14/100

=> 0.14 m

Radius of the conical tomb = 0.14/2 = 0.07 m

Find:-

cost of white washing the conical tomb of curved surface area at the rate of Rs. 210 per 100 m².

Solution:-

Curved surface area of the conical tomb = πrl

Substitute the known values in above formula

=> 22/7 × 0.07 × 25

=> 22 × 0.25

=> 5.5 m²

Cost of painting at the rate of Rs. 210 per 100 m² = (5.5 × 210)/100

=> 1155/100

=> 11.55
