Let Height of the frustum of cone be H

We know that

L =\sqrt{H^2+(R-r)^2}

Putting values

5=\sqrt{H^2+4^2

Squaring both sides

25 = H² + 16

H² = 25 - 16

H² = 9

Taking Square Root of both sides

H = 3

∴ Height of the frustum of the cone is 3 cm
