The slant height of a frustum of a cone is 8 cm.If the perimeters of its circular bases be 36cm and 12cm ,find the curved surface area of frustum and also find the cost painting its total surface at the rate of Rs 25 per 100cm2

Here is your answer:--

Slant height=8

Permittes=36cm and 12cm

Radius=perimeter/2π

R=36/2π

=18/π

r=12/2π

=6/π

Curved surface area of frustum

=π(R+r)l

= π(18/π+6/π)(8)

= π(18+6/π) (8)

= 24(8)

= 192 cm^3
