Answer:

if the perimeter of the triangle is 27 cm ,find the length of each side. The sides of the triangle are in the ratio 2: 3: 4 which mean 2 + 3 + 4 = 9. The perimeter of the triangle = 27 cm. The lengths of the sides are 6cm , 6cm and 12cm.

Given:-

  • The sides of the triangle are in a ratio of 2:3:4
  • The perimeter of the triangle is 27 cm.

To find :-

  • The length of each side of the triangle.

Now ,

Let the sides be 2x , 3x and 4x respectively

\small\bf\red{According\:to\:the\:question ↪}

\implies  \sf{\: 2x + 3x + 4x = 27x}

\sf{\implies \: 9x = 27}

\sf{\implies \: x =  \frac{27}{9} }

\sf{\implies \: x = 3}

Now,

by putting the value of x = 3

we get ,

\sf{\implies \: 2x = 2 \times 3 = 6cm}

\sf{\implies \: 3x = 3 \times 3 = 9cm}

\sf{\implies \: 4x = 4 \times 3 = 12 \: cm}

Hence ,

The sides are 6 cm, 9 cm and 12 cm .
