Answer:

Formula used:

Perimeter of the triangle= a+b+c

Solution:

x+x+1+13=56

⇒2x + 14 = 56

⇒2x = 56 - 14

⇒x =  \frac{42}{2}

⇒x = 21

Therefore, The value of x is 21.

Given question -:

the slides of a triangle are x, (x+1) and 13 cm. if its perimeter is 56cm.then find the value of x

let us first understand the meaning of perimetre

perimeter = the boundary of a closed plane figure.

let's try to solve the question

perimeter \: of \: triangle \:  = a + b + c

so

x + x + 1 + 13 = 56

2x + 14 = 56

2x = 56 - 14

2x = 42

x = 21

Now value of x

x = 21

 x + 1 = 21 + 1 = 22

Hope this will help you

Thank you ..
