'Land of the tiller' was the slogan given in the land reform program implemented in South Vietnam on March 26th 1970, by president Nguyen Van Thieu, at the height of the Vietnam war. This slogan was given to push forward the goal of solving the problem of Land Tenancy by taking land from the landlord who were not labouring the tenant farmers. This slogan was highly inspirational as the landlord had to listen to the farmers in the end and had to give them the legal ownership of the land and collective farm was abolished.

It helped the farmers grow and earn more income and it also promoted the agriculture in the region, so land the tiller is always a good inspiration.
