 Let \: the \: height \: of \:hill  = BC

 Distance \: travelled (AB) = 500 \: m

 Slope \: of \: the : hill (m) = tan 60\degree

 tan 60 \degree = \frac{BC}{AB}

 \implies \sqrt{3} = \frac{BC}{500}

 \implies BC = 500\sqrt{3} \: m

 Height \:of \:Hill = 500 \times 1.732 \\= 866 \:m

Therefore.,

 \red {Height \:of \:Hill} \green {= 866\:m }
