given equation is 4x + 3y - 4 = 0

to find the slope, bring this equation to slope intercept form =>

=> y = m x + c

=> 4x + 3y - 4 = 0 => 3y = - 4x + 4

=> dividing both sides with 3, we get

=> y = (- 4/3) x + 4/3 _______1

=> y = (m) x + c___________2

on comparing 1 and 2, we get

slope m = - 4/3
