Indeed! It is really crucial because it protects our earth from harmful ultra-violet radiations from sun striking towards earth. It not only saves us from those harmful radiations but also keeps our planet warm by reflecting back certain green-house gases back towards the earth. In this way, it plays a very important role in giving the earth its normal temperature, otherwise our earth would have been an another ball of ice without it!

Hope it helps❤️

The small ozone layer on top of the stratosphere is crucial for humans as:

-Ozone layer on top of the stratosphere consists of O3 molecules.

-This layer is crucial as it absorbs the UV radiation emitted by the sun.

-If this layer is depleted, it can cause the UV radiation to penetrate and cause -skin cancer.

-The ozone layer is depleted due to  the use of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)
