The smaller moon of Mars, Deimos, has a diameter of 7.5 miles. The larger moon, Phobos, has a diameter that is 1 3/4 times greater. What is the diameter of Phobos?

First we take the diameter of Deimos = 7.5 miles

then diameter of Phobos = 13/4 miles times means (×)

now the diameter of Phobos would be = 13/4 × 7.5

= 24.375 miles
