Multiple them or take their LCM.

2 x 3 x 5 = 30

The smallest and the largest 3 digit numbers should be multiples of 30.

Let's find the smallest 3 digit no. of the condition.

The smallest 3 digit no. is 100, isn't it?

100 divided by 30 gives quotient 3 and remainder 10.

10 less than 30 is 20.

On adding 20 to 100, we get 120. It is the smallest 3 digit multiple of 30.

∴ 120 is the smallest 3 digit number which has 2, 3 and 5 as factors.

Let's find the largest 3 digit no. of the condition.

The largest 3 digit no. is 999, isn't it?

999 divided by 30 gives quotient 33 and remainder 9.

9 less than 999 is 990. Or 30 x 33 = 990. It is the largest 3 digit multiple of 30.

∴ 990 is the largest 3 digit number which has 2, 3 and 5 as factors.

Hope this will be helpful.
