According to particle physics..the quarks are the smallest particles in the standard model…they are fermionic and they are of six types…up,down,top,bottom,charm, and strange quarks….they are arranged in specific ways in specific particles and they are the reason protons and neutrons have respective charge…A proton contains two up quarks .
