The narrator in the story of the snake and the mirror was a doctor by profession .He was not rich but handsome.one night he could not sleep and started looking into the mirror.lookingAnd the reflection of his own image in the mirror he felt that he should shave daily to look attractive he also decided to grow a thin moustache and keep a smile on his face he also thought about marriage and wish to marry a woman who too should be a doctor and have plenty of money search start is kept him engrossed until the snake landed on his arm was the narrator was sitting in the room he heard a noise as if a rubber tube has fallen in the ground as soon as he turned to look at the look take a look a fat snake Reagan over the back of the chair and landed on his shoulder he didn’t jump tremble or cry as there was no time to do so the snake graded along the shoulder and coiled around his left arm above the elbow the food of the snake was spread out and its head was hardly three or 4 inches from his face the narrator The narrator sought motion and Leslie on his chair fearing that even this liars the moment would make this snake bite him
