yes , I am totally agree with this statement because in this poem ( snake ) the poet himself has cleared this fact because he has said that yellow snakes are not harmful but the black ones are killer ones ........ so, yes snake was not harmful to poet as he was only there only to satisfy his thirst not to kill the poet......

The snake in the poem 'The snake trying' is not dangerous as it is also a creature created by god and has the right to co-exist peacefully on earth.

As we have already heard that every action has a reaction. So, the snake will be of no harm if we don't harm it. It is obvious for the snake to protect itself.
