The soil effects flora and fauna of the region. There are some examples for justifying this statement.I want to list a few examples here:
-In desert there is sandy soil. The flora present there are some date, palm and cactus trees which grow in sandy soil.Fauna present there are camels and some small animals which feeds on cactus and palm and date fruits.
-In rainy forests there is fertile soil. The flora present there are some types of deciduous trees which grows in very fertile soil. The fauna present there are different types of birds and animals like gorilla which feed on fresh leaves.
-In grasslands the soil is a little sandy but fertile. The flora here is only grass and very less trees which needs a type of sandy soil. The fauna here are some of the herbivores and some carnivores which feeds on the grass and other small animals.
