the soil in a feild is highly acidic ,list any two material which can be added to this soil to reduce its acidity . give the reasons

any substance that is basic in nature can be added to the Soil in the field... by doing so, the base and the acid in the soil reacts together resulting in neutralisation.... ie, both the qualities of acid and base neutralises... eg:salt or powder used for white wash

Ammonia solution and slaked lime can be added
Because they r basic in nature and they will neutralise the acid that is present in that soil
