The soils that are formed from the sediments deposited by the rivers is called alluvial soils.

When it comes to alluvium, it is unconsolidated, loose sediment of soil which is reshaped and eroded by the water content in certain form.

In fact, this kind of soil is redeposited in the non-marine setting.  It is a made of various minerals such as fine particles of clay and silt.
