adding both the eqn (i) and (ii),

we get,

3x + 3x = 25+ 5

=> 6x = 30

=> x = 30/6

=> x = 5

putting the value of x in eqn (i),

we get,

3×5 + y = 25

=> 15 + y = 25

=> y = 25 - 15

=> y = 10

HENCE,

x = 5

y = 10
