Answer:

(2x - 1) ^{2}  = 9 \\ 4x^{2} - 1 = 9 \\ 4x^{2}  = 9 + 1 \\ 4 {x}^{2}  = 10 \\  {x}^{2}  = \frac{10}{4}  \\  {x}^{2}  =  \frac{5}{2}  \\ x =  \sqrt{ \frac{5}{2} }

 ✯ \: (2x-1)²=9

 ☞ \: (2x-1)²=(3)²

By applying square root on both sides:-

☞ \:  \sqrt{ {(2x - 1)}^{2} }  =  \sqrt{ {(3)}^{2} }

 ☞ \: 2x - 1 = 3

 ☞ \: 2x  = 3 + 1

 ☞ \: 2x = 4

☞ \: x =  \frac{4}{2}

 \boxed {x=2}

Therefore, solution of (2x-1)²=9 is 2
