Answer:

let 2x+y-6=0 be equation 1    

let 3x-y-4=0 be equation 2

now,

multiply( 2x+y=6)*3  

6x+3y=18 equation3

multiply(3x-y=4)*2

6x-2y=8 equation4

on subtracting equation 3 and 4:-

we get; 6x+3y=18

             6x-2y=8

 hence,  5y=10

             y=2

x=(8+2y)/6=(8+4)/6=12/6=2.
