EQUATION : 3(x + 1) = 2x - 7

SOLUTION :

If, 3(x + 1) = 2x - 7
Then,
=> 3*x + 3*1 = 2x - 7
=> 3x + 3 = 2x - 7
=> 3x - 2x = - 7 - 3 ( TRANSPORTING )
=> x = - 10 ( ANSWER )

Hope it would help you with your maths,
Have a nice day! :D
