log3x - log 9 = 1

We know that:

logx -logy = log(x/y)

log 10 =1

==> log3x -log 9= 1

==> log(3x/9) = log 10

==> 3x/9 = 10

Multiply by 9

==> 3x= 90

Divide by 3:

==> x= 30

To check:

log3(30)-log9 = 1

log90 -log9=1

log(90/9) = 1

log 10 =1
