x=1,y=-2
3×1+b×(-2)=(-5)
3-2b=-5
-2b=-5+3
-2b=-2
b=-2/-2
b=1

how it will be
Till the step 3-2b=-5 is right..when 3 is transfered to right side it will become -3.so the next step will be-2b=-8
