\boxed{\color{Red}{ANSWER}}

x - 3y = 6 \\ x + y = 2

Substracting Both equations, We get

 - 4y = 4 \\ y =  - 1

Now , Put y = -1 in eqn 2

x  + ( - 1) = 2 \\ x - 1 = 2 \\ x = 2 + 1 \\ x = 3

so , the sol. of this pair of eqn is (3,-1)

which lies in the IV QUADRANT
