=>6x²-5x-21=0

It is in the form of a quadratic equation so we use quadratic formula for finding the roots

quadratic formula to find roots :

x= -b±√b²-4ac / 2a

From above Equation

using the quadratic formula where ,

a= 6 ,b = -8 and c= -21

=>x= -(-5) ± √(-5)²-4(6)(-21) / 2(6)

=>x= 5±√25-(-504) / 12

=>x= 5±√25+504 / 12

=>x=5±√529 / 12

The discriminant b²-4ac is >0

So,there are two real roots of this Equation.

=>x= 5± 23/12

=>x=28/12 ; x= -18/12

x= 2.33333

x= -1.5
