let the terms of ratio be x, 2x and 3x
then x+2x+3x=30
=>6x=30
=>x=30/6
=>x=5 yrs
y=2x
=>y=2×5
=>y=10 yrs
z=3x
=>z=3×5
=>15 yrs
therefore their ages are 5, 10 and 15 respectively...
