The Southern boundary of decan plateau is located in Eastern and Western Ghats. It looks like a triangular shape. This boundary is surrounded by Narmada River. Volcanic soil is covered the Southern part of the plateau. This plateau constructed many dynasties like Nizam of Hyderabad, Kakatiya Empire, Maratha Empire and Rashtrakuta Dynasty.
