The southernmost range of Himalayas is called Shiwaliks. Features :
(i) The outermost range of the Himalayas is called the Outer Himalayas or Shiwaliks.
(ii) They extend over a width of 10-15 km.

shiwaliks are yhe southernmost range of himalayas. Mountains in this range have an altitude of about 900-1100m and they stretch upto 50km in width...
