Hi,
Let CP be x
SP of article = 3/4 of CP = 3x/4
Loss = CP-SP = x - (3x/4) = (4x - 3x)/4 = x/4
Loss%,
= (Loss/CP) * 100
![\frac{ \frac{x}{4} }{x} \times 100 = \frac{x}{4x} \times 100 \\ = \frac{1}{4} \times 100 = 25\% \frac{ \frac{x}{4} }{x} \times 100 = \frac{x}{4x} \times 100 \\ = \frac{1}{4} \times 100 = 25\%](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Cfrac%7B+%5Cfrac%7Bx%7D%7B4%7D+%7D%7Bx%7D+%5Ctimes+100++%3D++%5Cfrac%7Bx%7D%7B4x%7D++%5Ctimes+100+%5C%5C++%3D++%5Cfrac%7B1%7D%7B4%7D++%5Ctimes+100+%3D+25%5C%25)
Loss % = 25 %
Hope helps!
