the speed of a boat downstream is 36 km/hr and its speed upstream is 24km/hr. Find its Speed in still water and the rate of its stream.

then speed of water in downstream =x-36

and speed of wáter in upstream =x+24km/hr

ATQ(according to question )

x-36=x+24

x+x=24+36

2x=60

x=60/2

x=30km/hr

speed of upstream is 24 km/ hr

we know that in downstream X will subtract by 36

x- 36 km / hr

and in upstream x will plus 24

x+24 km/ hr

ATQ: x-36=x+24

x+x=24+36

2x=60

now divide 60/ 2

x=60/ 2

x=30 km / hr
