Answer:

speed of boat = 10km/hr

let the speed of the stream be x km/hr

speed in downstream = (10+x) km/hr

speed of boat in upstream = (10-x) km/hr

The boat can cover 150 km in 10 hours  downstream

so the speed of the boat in downstream = distance/time = 15km/hr

   10+x = 15

         x  = 5km/hr

speed of stream = 5km/hr

speed of boat in upstream = (10+x) = (10-5) = 5km/hr

distance to cover upstream = 150

time to cover 150km upstream = distance/time = 150/5 = 30hrs
