the speed of a boat in still water is 15 km per hour and the speed of the stream is 5 km per hour find the time taken by the boat to cover first 40 km upstream second 36 km downstream

s₁=15km/h
s₂=5km/h
tᵤₚ=40/15-5=4hrs
t₂=36/15+5=1.8hrs
