Answer:

The speed of a boat in still water is 8 km/hr. Let x is the speed of stream. Therefore, the speed of boat in downstream is 8+x km/hr. Hence, the speed of the current is 7/3 or 2.33 km/hr.

Let The Speed of current= y km/h

Speed of boat in still water= 8km/h

speed of boat Downstream= distance/time

8 + y =  \frac{15.5}{ \frac{11}{2} }

8 + y =  \frac{310}{110}

Y= -5.81km/h

NOTE: VALUE OF TIME IS NOT CLEAR
