Given, initial velocity, u= 5m/s

final velocity , v =10m/s

time , t = 5sec

we know,

a=v-u/t

a=10-5/5

a=5/5 =1

a = 1m/sec^2

Solution:-

Given,

  • Speed of a body moving along a straight path  changes 5m/s to 10m/s in 5 sec.

We can find the acceleration by using the first equation of motion:-

u = 5m/s ; v = 10m/s ; t = 5sec

v = u + at

10 = 5 + 5a

10 - 5 = 5a

5a = 5

a = 5/5

The acceleration of body is 1m/
