Answer:

Bus

Explanation:

to know the correct answer,

first of all we convert speed of bus in m/s

speed of bus = 72 km/hr[given]

to convert into m/s we should multiply it by 5/18

72 * 5/18 = 20m/s

now we compare speed of bus and speed of car,

12.5<20

so,

speed of bus is more than speed of car,

Given:-

  • Speed of bus, s = 72km/h

  • Speed of Car , s' = 12.5m/s

To Find:-

  • Which vehicle moves faster

Solution:-

Firstly we convert the speed of bus in m/s

To convert the speed into m/s we multiple the speed of bus by 5/18

→ 72km/h = 72×5/18 = 4×5 = 20m/s

Therefore ,the speed of bus is 20m/s

And we have given the speed of car is 12.5m/s

From above the solution we observe that the speed of bus is more than the car . So the bus travel faster.

Extra Information !!

Some equation of motion are

• v = u +at

•s = ut +1/2at².

• v² = u² + 2as

Here,

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

a is the acceleration

s is the displacement or Distance

t is the time taken
