Let initial velocity, u = 35 km/h

final velocity= v

acceleration= a= 2km/h²

and distance travelled= s

Using second equation of motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

We get,

s = (35)(12) +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2 \times  {(12)}^{2}  \\ s = 420 + 144 \\ s = 564
