Let the speed of boat in still water = x km/h

Then, speed downstream = x + 5 km/h and speed upstream = x - 5 km/h

3(x+5) = 4(x-5) + 5

3x + 15 = 4x - 20 + 5

x = 15 + 20 - 5 = 30 km/h

Speed of boat in still water = 30 km/h
