. The speed of a train is 120 m/sec. If it takes 15 second to cross a electric pole . Find the time required for it to cover a platform of 240 metres.​

Answer:

time \:  =  \: distance \:  \div  \: speed

given,

the speed of the train = 120 m/s

distance that the train needs to travel = 240 m

substituting the values,

time = 240/120

(cancel out the two zeros)

(then cancel 24 and 12 by the 12 table,

which will come like the below fraction)

time = 2/1

the answer is 2 m/s
