Consider the initial Kinetic energy -->
It is ---> 1/2 m ² = 1/4 * 1000 * 36²
Changed Kinetic energy ---> 1/4 * 1000 * 72²
.'. The increase is [ 1/4 * 1000 * 72² ] - [ 1/4 * 1000 * 36² ]
=============> 1/4 * 1000 [ 5184 - 1296 ] = 3888 / 4 * 1000 = 972 000
Hence, the increase is 972 kilojoules
