From the formula

h =  \frac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

t =  \sqrt{ \frac{2h}{g} }  =  \sqrt{ \frac{2000}{9.8} }

t = 14.2828569 sec

Horizontal distance

 = v.t

= 2,380.46667 m

= 2.38 km
